TTC was appointed by the EU and Government of Kenya to manage the Tourism Trust Fund which has been jointly established to implement a sustainable tourism development programme. TTC is also examining the structures for tourism in Kenya and recommending new legislation to implement change. Following the difficulties experiences after a terrorist attack had badly damaged tourism performance - TTC created and implemented a Tourism Recovery programme in key markets for the country. This three year support programme focused on sustainable development and a broadening of the base to give wider benefits from incoming and domestic tourism.
